The website and installer files are hosted by GitHub, Inc. (GitHub Pages and GitHub Releases), 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States.
Personal data
The website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or third-party resources, and collects no data. Like any host, GitHub may log technical connection data (such as IP addresses): see GitHub's privacy statement. The download count shown on the home page is the anonymous total that GitHub keeps for each installer file; it is recalculated once a day, without any information about visitors.
The app analyzes your résumé entirely on your computer: it is sent neither to the publisher nor to any third party. History and settings are stored only on your computer and can be erased at any time from Settings. The optional AI assistant, off by default, sends excerpts of your résumé to Anthropic (provider of the Claude API) only after your explicit consent and with your own key; your contact details are masked by default.
Terms of use of the app
- ATS Checker is provided free of charge, for personal use.
- The app is provided “as is”. The score is an estimate based on the known rules of the main recruitment systems: there is no official ATS score, and a high score guarantees neither an interview nor a job.
- Recommendations must never lead you to add a skill or experience you do not have to your résumé.
- Reproduction, modification or redistribution of the app are reserved to Willy Pontvianne, subject to the licenses of the open-source components it contains (details in the app's “About” screen).
Trademarks
The recruitment software names mentioned (Workday, Taleo, iCIMS, Greenhouse, Lever, SuccessFactors, Cegid Talentsoft…) are trademarks of their respective owners, cited for information only. ATS Checker is not affiliated with any of them.
